EiBrot ist ein partizipatorisches Internet-Eat-Art-Projekt des Berliner Künstlers Manfred Heinze über Ei auf Brot.
Für dieses Projekt kann jeder ein Foto seines Eibrotes einreichen. Das Foto ist für die virtuelle Ausstellung auf dieser Website aber evtl. auch für eine spätere Ausstellung in einer Galerie oder einem Museum. Alle eingehenden Bilder werden auf dieser Website mit Namen (oder Alias), Ort und Land veröffentlicht.
Wichtig ist die Ästhetik, die Farbigkeit und die Proportion der EiBrot-Komposition. Ansonsten will das EiBrot nichts verändern, nicht kritisieren und nichts weiter thematisieren. In diesem Projekt ist das Ei kein Symbol für beginnendes Leben, das Brot ist kein Symbol für das Menschsein oder die von Menschen gemachte Dingwelt oder gar göttliches Symbol, und das Verspreisen des EiBrots ist auch kein Vanitasmotiv. Es ist nicht erotisch und nicht politisch. Ein EiBrot ist ein Brot mit Ei, ein kleines Kunstwerk, wunderschön und lecker - mehr nicht.

EiBrot (egg sandwich) is a partizipatory internet eat art projekt by the Berlin artist Manfred Heinze on egg sandwiches.
Everybody can submit a photo of his EiBrot for the virtual exhibition on this website but possibly also for a later exhibition in a gallery space or museum.
All incomming photos will be published on this website by name (or alias), city and country.
The only thing that is important is the aesthetics, the colors, the proportions and the composition of the EiBrot. Apart from that the EiBrot will not change anything, it will not criticize anything and it want´s no discussion. In this project the egg is not a symbol of beginning life, the bread is not a symbol for the human being or man-made things or even a divine symbol, the eating of the EiBrot is not a vanitas motif. It´s not erotic and it´s not political. An EiBrot is a bread with an egg on it, a little piece of artwork, beautiful and delicious - and nothing else.
